Terms & Conditions


Outlined below are terms and conditions upon which My Cosmetic Doctor provides services to its clients. Please can you ensure that you have read and understood these conditions prior to booking a consultation with My Cosmetic Doctor. The terms ‘our’, ‘we’ and ‘us’ refer to ‘My Cosmetic Doctor’.


Appointment Cancellation Policy


We do not charge a consultation fee for anti-wrinkle injection and dermal filler consultations. However, we kindly ask that if you wish to cancel or reschedule your consultation that you give us at least 48 hours notice. Following the consultation we will make a treatment booking. For this we do charge £50 deposit. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment please give us at least 48 hours notice. We will refund the £50 deposit if 48 hours notice is given. If the cancellation or reschedule request occurs within 48 hours of your appointment, we reserve the right to keep 100% of the deposit. This policy is in place out of respect for our staff members and clients as cancellations are difficult to fill at short notice and prescriptions cannot be used for other patients.


In addition a consultation fee of £50 applies for a Skin consultation. If cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time, the full amount of £50 will be refunded. If cancelled less than 48 hours prior to your appointment time, the deposit will become non-refundable.


Lateness Policy


If for any reason you are going to be late to your appointment. Please contact us using the mobile number listed on our ‘contact us’ page. In the unfortunate event that you are more than 10 minutes late we reserve the right to cancel and rearrange the appointment, as it is important for other clients to have enough time for their treatments. Lateness of 10 minutes or more will also result in loss of the deposit fee.


No Shows


If you do not attend your appointment you will lose the deposit paid to secure the appointment and will be asked to provide a new deposit for your next appointment. If you miss 3 appointments without contacting us, we retain the right to refuse to schedule any further appointments.


Treatment Reviews


After your treatment you will be offered a 2 week review appointment (which may be a face to face or virtual appointment). If you are not satisfied with your service we ask that you contact us and let us know within 2 weeks of treatment. On occasion further anti-wrinkle injections or further filler may be required at your review appointment. For anti-wrinkle injections, there will be no further charge for a top up at the 2 week review appointment. However, should more filler be required, there will be a further charge as per our usual price plan for initial treatments.


In addition, in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your filler placement we are able to dissolve the filler but this will incur a further charge. Furthermore, should any complications arise, we will do our very best to treat these. However, depending on the type of complication, further service charges may apply. Please contact us if you would like to know what these additional charges might involve.


Children, Plus Ones & Dogs


Any client requiring treatment is advised not to bring another child to the treatment unless accompanied by another adult whilst the treatment is taking place. Pets are not allowed into the treatment room in order to maintain strict hygiene levels. Furthermore, if a chaperone is required, please contact us and we will advise you on whether this can be accommodated as it is important to restrict the number of people in a room at any given time to reduce the risk of disease transmission (e.g. COVID-19).


Consultations


We want you to get the best possible results. In order to make this achievable we will need to undertake a bespoke assessment through consultation. It may be possible to treat you on the same day. However, we may have to book an appointment and may not be able to facilitate same day treatment, depending on the treatment required and the outcome of your assessment.



Personal Belongings


My Cosmetic Doctor will not take any responsibility for the loss or damage of personal belongings whilst at one of our treatment sites.


Refunds


All of our treatments including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler and medical grade skincare are non refundable. However, if you are unhappy with the outcome of your treatment please contact us so that we can do our best to address your concerns and help resolve and rectify any issues.


Liability


My Cosmetic Doctor will not be liable in contract, or otherwise for any economic loss (including without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.


It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide My Cosmetic Doctor with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. My Cosmetic Doctor will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.


The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, My Cosmetic Doctor regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit My Cosmetic Doctor's liability for death or any personal injury resulting from negligence.


Complaints


My Cosmetic Doctor will always treat all clients ethically, appropriately and compassionately. However, if you are unhappy or have an issue in relation to your treatment you are entitled to make a formal complaint. This can be done verbally, or in writing. COVID-19 - Applicable During Pandemic


My Cosmetic Doctor are doing everything we can to limit the impact of COVID-19 and other transmissible diseases on your treatment and care. We ask that you socially distance when in our treatment centres and also arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time only, to ensure that you are not waiting with other clients. We will ensure we wear personal protective equipment in the form of a facemask and gloves. We kindly ask that you wear a facemask when not undergoing treatment. My Cosmetic Doctor cannot be held responsible for the transmission of any disease (including COVID-19) in relation to any of our appointments, consultations and treatments.


Furthermore, prior to treatment we will check your temperature and the temperature of our Doctors to maximise safety. In addition, you will be asked to sign a COVID symptom consent form. If you do have a cough, temperature, loss of taste/smell, have contact with a positive COVID case or feel generally unwell in the 14 days prior to treatment, we kindly ask that you let us know and do not attend any of our clinics.


We understand the impact that COVID-19 can have on clients and their families. If you are unable to attend an appointment at short notice we understand this and will be more flexible with our appointment cancellation policy as we do not want you to attend for treatment if you are unwell.
